I ordered some VW parts from them a while back, I think it was around late spring or maybe early summer, and they actually had the stuff in stock when a few other places didn’t. One part did take a little longer to come in, but it wasn’t anything crazy. Overall it was a smooth experience and I’d probably use them again

The part gave out sooner than I expected, so I reached out about the warranty. To be fair, they did respond eventually, which I guess is better than being ignored completely. But I had to keep following up, the replies were short, and I still ended up paying for shipping. It wasn’t a total disaster, just way more frustrating than it needed to be.

I’m really frustrated with the install process. The instructions were confusing, skipped important steps, and left me stuck halfway through. I ended up having to dig through forums just to figure out how to finish, which shouldn’t be necessary for something that’s supposed to come with proper guidance. I wasn’t happy with the help provided, and at this point I feel like this needs to be escalated because the instructions clearly aren’t complete enough for customers to use confidently.

The prices are mostly okay. A lot of the parts seemed fair at first, and I was like, great, this works. Then shipping got added on a few items and suddenly I was dramatically questioning every life choice that led me to checkout. It’s not terrible overall, and I’d still consider ordering again, but it definitely wasn’t the amazing deal I was hoping for every time

I ordered from cbperformance hoping it would wake the car up a bit, and I’ll give them credit, it does feel somewhat better. The throttle response is smoother and it pulls a little harder than before, so it’s not like I got nothing out of it.
That said, the whole experience was more annoying than I expected. Shipping dragged on, and trying to get clear updates felt like more work than it should’ve been. For what I paid, I guess I just thought the difference would be more obvious, or at least the process would be easier, because if you’re spending that kind of money... yeah. Not awful, but I’m not exactly excited to order again

I’m giving 2 stars because the shipping itself was fine, but the order wasn’t right. I’ve bought from this brand before and usually trust them, so I was disappointed when the parts I received didn’t match what I selected on the site. It ended up delaying the whole job, which was frustrating. Customer service did get back to me, but it took a few messages back and forth before things were sorted out. I still want to like them, but this one definitely made me question whether I’ll order parts from them again.

I picked up some engine parts from CB Performance, and so far it’s been running okay, I guess. It hasn’t had any major issues or anything blow up, but after putting some miles on it, I’ve had a few reliability concerns pop into my head. I ended up checking and adjusting things more than I thought I’d need to, which makes me a little unsure about how trouble-free it’ll be long term. Shipping was fine, and support did get back to me when I reached out. Overall, it’s not bad, but I was kind of hoping it would be a bit more set-it-and-forget-it

I got help with my custom build, and it did help me out in the end. The replies though were taking a while, and a couple things I had to explain twice, which was a bit annoying. Parts info they gave was decent, so not bad overall, just not the fastest experience

I was interested, but I couldn’t really tell if it would fit my setup, like, the info just wasn’t enough, and then I’m sitting there comparing measurements and guessing. I ended up not feeling confident about it.

They were helpful once I got in touch, but it took around a bit longer than I expected. Overall, it was just okay.

I ordered a few parts from cbperformance.com the shipping was slower than I expected. Updates were vague too, so I mostly just kept checking the tracking and waiting. The parts showed up fine once they finally got here, so no complaints there, but the delivery time was definitely frustrating. Seems like it might be okay if you’re not in a rush, but I’d think twice if I needed something quickly.

The site was easy enough to use, and I didn’t really run into any major issues. I guess some parts could maybe be a little more... but overall it did what I needed

I don’t know if they were backed up or what, but the first answer wasn’t super clear, so that slowed things down a bit. In the end, the info was useful enough. Not terrible, just not exactly impressive either...

I bought some carb parts and figured I’d try their tuning advice since they seemed like they knew what they were doing, at least on paper. Unfortunately, following it just made my setup worse. The car ended up running rich, stumbling badly, and I spent way too much time chasing problems that weren’t there before.

I emailed for help, and while they did reply, the answers were so brief they almost made me appreciate how efficient they were at not actually troubleshooting anything. Maybe their guidance works for some people, but it definitely didn’t for me, and I wouldn’t use them again

I haven’t actually ordered from CB Performance yet, but they seem to have a really solid reputation in the VW crowd. I see their parts recommended often, and people seem to trust what they’re selling. Definitely feels like a safe place to shop when I’m ready to buy.

The return process was a headache. It felt like they made it way harder than it needed to be, and I can imagine other customers feeling just as annoyed if they ran into the same thing. A return should be simple, but this took more effort than expected

My order showed up and the parts were fine, so I guess it worked out, but the packaging wasn’t great. One corner of the box was kind of smashed and there wasn’t much padding inside, which felt a little sketchy for car parts. Nothing was actually damaged, so maybe it wasn’t a big deal, but it still didn’t seem packed very carefully. Shipping was okay overall, just wish they put a little more effort into the box.

I don’t know... the parts just felt really cheap to me. Like, right away I could tell the quality wasn’t great, and it made the whole thing feel disappointing.

I ordered a few parts for my VW, and everything fit the way it was supposed to right out of the box. No trimming, no guessing, no messing around, which is what most of us are hoping for when we’re working on older cars.

The descriptions on the site were accurate, and what showed up matched what I expected. The bolt holes lined up fine too, and anyone who’s ordered old car parts before knows that’s not always a given.
Shipping was reasonable, and overall it was a smooth experience. I’d definitely order from CB Performance again, and I think other VW folks would feel good buying from them too...
